Spreading Love, Making a Difference
About us
Share Your Heart believes in the transformative power of love within communities. Through our programs, we extend care to those in need. Established in 1998 as part of the Victory for Youth (VFY) 501c3 organization, our Share Your Heart (SYH) program unites compassionate individuals as volunteer chaplains, serving communities. We collaborate with government agencies and nonprofits to respond to referrals for individuals and families in crisis or distress. Using the SYH App and website, agencies and organizations refer individuals needing assistance. Our volunteer chaplains, located in the same zip code, provide support. They collect essential supplies and personally visit recipients, offering emotional and spiritual assistance while identifying additional needs. Volunteers maintain a connection for at least 90 days, promoting stability, resources, faith engagement, and preventing further involvement with child welfare or justice systems. Share Your Heart operates in multiple Florida regions: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry/Glades, Lee, Leon, Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Orange, and Marion counties. We collaborate closely with regional Department of Children and Families (DCF) offices and partner with learning coalitions, school districts, health departments, and local governments to enhance prevention services. In addition, Share Your Heart integrates with VFY initiatives: Food Facilitation, providing assistance to 4,000 households per month through 13 community resource centers in Miami-Dade County; CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), contributing to county emergency management efforts; Employment Services, empowering individuals with job training and placement; and the USDA Summer Feeding Program, providing nutritious meals and education to children. Join Share Your Heart in transforming communities, one heart at a time.

On June 10th, a fire displaced all residents of a building in our community. We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity we've received. A heartfelt thank you to the Office of the Secretary of State, City of Miami Police Department, City of Miami Public School Police, Atlantic Housing Foundation, Office of Mayor Francis Suarez, Commissioner Miguel Angel Gabela, State Senator Ileana Garcia, Share Your Heart volunteer chaplains, Vous Church, Presencia Viva Church, American Airlines, Independent Living Community Services, and the City of Miami Police therapy dogs for their donations, resources, and time. Atlantic Housing Foundation, the property management company, has generously rented a hotel for the 63 residents for two weeks and Share Your Heart has been at the forefront, creating a pop-up boutique with clothes, sanitary products, and more at the hotel where the residents are staying. Your dedication and resources are making a significant impact. Together, we are stronger. ❤️
