    ServiceChannel teams across the Bay Area, the Carolinas, and beyond have been out in full force, embodying our commitment to community and compassion during this year's Fortive Day of Caring! 🌍 In the Bay Area, our crew joined forces with Kids Against Hunger, packaging a remarkable 4,968 meals 🥘️ to aid Ukrainian refugees and other hungry children worldwide. (📸 photos by Marcy Zimmerman) Further east, our NC/SC teammates partnered with Habitat for Humanity, where they not only built homes 🏠🔨 but also built stronger bonds. They measured, cut, and installed interior trim, gaining new skills and making a tangible impact on families needing safe, affordable housing. These initiatives are more than just volunteer efforts; they're a testament to our dedication to making a difference.     The latest #RetailGrind podcast has dropped. In this one, my podcast partner Bill Yanek (CEO of ConnexFM | The Multi-Site Facilities Management Network) and I discuss the latest #economic numbers and why a Federal Reserve Board rate cut is likely at their next meeting in September. That said, #wallstreet threw a tantrum, with JPMorganChase CEO Jamie Dimon going as far as to suggest a recession was imminent. This, despite the fact that the majority of his own economists disagree and most economists disagree. The release of the latest #retail sales number yesterday further demonstrate that this is a nonsensical argument at the moment. But Wall Street arguably bullied Chairman Powell in the late 2010s to keep rates lower than they should have for too long to begin with. That back drama aside, I do think they will lower rates starting in September and that is fantastic news for #realestate. But current gloom and doom narratives are utterly detached from the underlying data and likely reflect election year narratives more than actual factual numbers. But there’s almost assuredly great news coming for the #cre and #residentialrealestate markets. That said, we have the amazing Siddarth Shetty of ServiceChannel talking to us about raising the #retail #experience from a #facilitiesmanagement perspective in an era in which experience matters for all retail categories, including value oriented chains that even now must pay critical attention to something they historically have generally not had to worry about… #customerexperience. https://lnkd.in/gzRrb49p
