Within months, lines stretched out the door. 🤔 Do you ever wonder, "what has Serenbe Founder, Steve Nygren been up to the past 2 months?" 🍃 From sharing Serenbe's biophilic community and hosting influential leaders such as the Kalyon Group from Istanbul and the Mayor & leadership of Lilburn, to joining a group of global thought leaders to envision the creation of a community on the edge of Ottawa, Canada, Steve is always on the move. Last week, Steve joined KSU professor Robin Puttock and student Neeya Yahaya on stage at the AIA Spire conference in Asheville, NC, to present the collaboration between KSU and Serenbe to reimagine the Art Farm at Serenbe campus. Recently, he enjoyed seeing Kathleen Bertrand bring her talent to the Art Farm at Serenbe's "Under the Tent" series, where a sold-out crowd of 300 rocked to the beat. Steve says, "There's no need to slow down." Did you know that when the Nygren family first moved to what is now Serenbe, Steve was looking to retire? If retirement means doing what you desire, then you could say that, in a way, he did. For Steve, building walkable, biophilic communities is exactly that. As we age, people often tell us to slow down. But did you know that staying active as we age actually makes it easier to remain active?
