Congratulations to the winners of the 2024 Silicon Valley Business Plan Competition sponsored by the Silicon Valley Center for Entrepreneurship @ SJSU!
In 1st place, Vashisht Anand for Sequio, an AI-driven personalized educational learning platform, winner of the $10,000 prize sponsored by Jay Fulcher, Raj Shah & the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business at SJSU. In 2nd place, Devon Rodriguez & Rishi Birudaraj win for Plastic Purge, a sustainable solution for recycling plastic waste, securing the $5,000 prize sponsored by Alfonso de la Nuez. Claiming 3rd place, Clayton Carillo & Shawheen Wingrove win for Car-Rillo, a user-friendly automotive dealership management platform, earning the $2,500 prize sponsored by Dave Hadden.
In addition to the cash awards, all 3 winners are eligible to receive in-kind prizes in the form of pro bono legal advice from Jim Bosco Jr. and the opportunity to pitch to the Venture Fellows at Angel Squad, one of the largest angel investor communities in the world, with mentorship from Francisco Guerrero.
