Felt personally vindicated for the client in this one, who worked with us for years while ever changing allegations were lodged against them.
Mark P. Scheer and Jennifer Crow secured a directed verdict for an insurer client sued in a civil RICO action in the Middle District of Florida. The case involved highly technical jurisdictional issues and several substantive claims. After nearly four years of litigation and a week in a bench trial, they received a full dismissal and award of attorney fees.
