Today, we had the honor of participating in the Alliance of New York State YMCA's Health & Wellness and Aquatics Peer Networking event! With over 90 YMCA staff from across the state in attendance, our CEO, Scott Clark, shared words of advice and inspiration to help kick off the event in our beautiful city of Saratoga Springs. The day was filled with insightful breakout sessions on everything from lifeguard success to community health, and wrapped up with a tour of our Saratoga Springs Branch. It was a great day and opportunity to share with the group what we're doing to support health, wellness, and aquatics in our community!

We are thrilled to welcome eGym to our Malta branch! eGym is a smart circuit technology that guides you through a custom 20 minute workout and tracks your progress. The Saratoga Regional YMCA's Saratoga Springs and Malta branches are the only facilities in the area with this cutting-edge experience. We can't wait for our members to give this exciting workout a try!

Another successful Gear UP event at Kohl's! Thanks to generous SRYMCA members, volunteers, and donors, we were able to provide 42 students with back-to-school shopping funds. Everyone wants to feel confident in what they are wearing - especially school children. We are so grateful to be able to hold this event for the forth year in a row to send these kids back to school feeling like their best and most confident selves!

We’re wrapping up Summer Camp 2024 this week! We’d like to thank all who have supported our efforts to help families in need. Because of you, over 80 children were able to experience the joys of camp this summer, who wouldn’t have been able to without your help. Pizza and Pints for a great cause!🍕🍺 We are teaming up with the Speckled Pig Brewing Co. for a Pizza and Pint Night on Thursday, August 15th from 4pm - 9pm. $1 from each pint and pizza sold will benefit the Malta Y's Annual Campaign, ensuring all children, teens, seniors, families and adults have access to quality child care and health programs. Bring your friends and family and join us for a fun evening!

Yesterday was National Lifeguard Appreciation Day, but we believe our lifeguards should be appreciated everyday! THANK YOU to our lifeguards and pool staff for choosing the Y and this community to work for and keep safe, we are so thankful to have you!

Today wraps up the third week of Summer Camp at the Y!🎉 The impact of camp is evident in the faces of our campers as they gain confidence, independence, and meaningful connections with others. Summer camp lets them be kids and offers them opportunities that will shape their futures and create cherished memories to last a lifetime!

Despite the rainy weather this past Saturday, we were still able to hold our Annual Staff Appreciation BBQ party to thank and celebrate our amazing staff! Staff and their families from across our association came together to celebrate the hard work that gets put into the Saratoga Regional YMCA each and every day. It was a memorable afternoon complete with Rollin' Smoke BBQ, Dairy Haus ice cream, an ice cream eating contest, raffles, giveaways, a bounce house, face painting, games, music, and more! Thank you to our Y United Committe for planning and executing a wonderful event! We really have the best staff!
