Excited to Share My Latest Project: Efficient Waste Classification System 🌍 I recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Sara AI Hackathon, where I developed an AI-driven model designed to classify waste into Recyclable and Non-Recyclable categories. This project has the potential to significantly impact waste management practices by improving the accuracy and efficiency of waste sorting processes. 🔍 About the Model: Technology: Leveraged a ResNet50-based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for image classification, obtained 97% accuracy. Performance: The model was trained on a robust dataset and achieved high accuracy in distinguishing between recyclable and non-recyclable materials. Deployment: Successfully deployed using Flask, making it accessible via a web interface for real-time predictions. 🔗 Why It Matters: With growing environmental concerns, efficient waste management is crucial. This model aims to support sustainability efforts by automating and improving waste classification, reducing contamination in recycling streams, and promoting a circular economy. A huge thanks to the organizers of the Sara AI Institute for providing this platform to innovate and make a difference. 🎉Thrilled to have participated in the CLASH OF T-AI-TANS Computer Vision Hackathon held by Saras AI Institute. We have built a Real-Time Video Surveillance and Triggering System. Our project focused on tackling emergency situations with a cutting-edge surveillance system that detects human falls, violence, and fire with the help of state-of-the-art models and then notifies the rescue personnel about the emergency using telegram notifications. 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗪𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗻!! 🎉🏆 It makes us really proud to inform you all that our team, the Team of Titans, has secured the FIRST POSITION in the CLASH OF T-AI-TANS Computer Vision Hackathon organized by Saras AI Institute. Talking a bit about the project, we developed a Real-Time Video Surveillance and Alert System that detects emergencies like fire, violence, and falls and sends instant alerts to a specified device (a telegram bot in our case) for immediate action. We used separate models for each case and, in the end, integrated them all with an alert system that sends a notification to our Telegram bot. A huge thanks to my teammates, Hirakjyoti Medhi, Biswajit Bera, and Ashutosh Kumar -I genuinely enjoyed working with you all. Can a photo really diagnose your skin? Our AI/ML model can! My partner Lankhonba Ayekpam and I dived deep into the world of AI and ML to create a Skin Disease Treatment Recommendation system during a hackathon organised by Saras AI Institute. We leveraged the power of Transfer Learning using the MobileNetV2 model to build a robust system capable of accurately predicting skin diseases based on uploaded images. To train our model, we utilized the extensive Kaggle Dermnet dataset, which provided a rich source of diverse skin condition images. The Gradio interface brings our model to life, making it accessible and user-friendly. With a simple photo upload, users can get potential diagnoses, understand their symptoms, and receive initial treatment recommendations. We believe this project has the potential to revolutionize skincare by providing an accessible and informative tool. We're eager to gather feedback and explore opportunities to further develop this system. 🚀 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! 🚀 I am thrilled to announce that I recently participated in the Clash of T-AI-TANS Hackathon organized by Saras AI Institute , alongside my talented teammate Arnav Prasad. We developed an advanced drone detection system using Detectron2 in Python. This project was an incredible learning experience, and I’m excited to share some key highlights: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Efficiently set up and imported essential libraries for the project. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Utilized the LabelMe tool to accurately annotate training data. 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Conducted rigorous testing on images containing both birds and drones to ensure high accuracy. 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Created and managed a comprehensive GitHub repository for our dataset and project files. 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Leveraged Google Colab for efficient code execution and collaboration. This project significantly enhanced our technical skills and provided valuable insights into effective teamwork and problem-solving in a real-world context. I am passionate about diving deeper into the world of computer vision and exploring new technological frontiers.
