The City of Sandy Springs is enhancing its emergency communication system by partnering with Everbridge to launch Sandy Springs Alerts. This new system will provide crucial updates on severe weather, power outages, and other significant safety concerns directly to residents' preferred communication channel. To ensure you receive these important notifications, please register at Spr.gs/Alerts or download the Everbridge app from the Apple Store or Google Play. Residents previously registered with Smart 911 will need to update their profiles in Everbridge by August 14.

Congratulations to the graduates of the City’s Inaugural Citizens Leadership Academy. The academy provided participants with a comprehensive overview of local government operations. Graduates gained insights into critical areas such as City Management, Public Safety and Emergency Management, Financial Management and Budgeting, Communications, Community Development, and Public Works. The academy included nine sessions over a period of four months covering various aspects of local government. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, graduates also had the opportunity to build relationships with their fellow participants and city officials.
