This week for United Against Hate Week in San Diego, The Center joined Councilmember Raul Campillo, Councilmember Stephen Whitburn, and community leaders to bring attention to the harmful effects of hate crimes and to promote the resources available to our community. In Hillcrest, we have experienced multiple acts of vandalism and pellet gun attacks. When hate strikes, The Center’s Crisis Services team is available to assist the community. Whether you need emotional support, safety planning, or referrals to mental health or legal services, we are here to help. To report a hate crime or hate incident, email us at [email protected] or visit us at The Center’s main building at 3909 Centre Street. Our Crisis Services team is available Monday through Friday, 10am to 7pm, and Saturdays 10am to 3pm.
