A huge thank you to Salt River Project for their incredible support! 🎉 Not only did their team fill 250 Hope Bags for our neighbors in need, but they also hosted a food drive, collecting much-needed items to help fight hunger across Arizona. Your generosity and dedication are truly inspiring, and your efforts will make a real difference for families facing food insecurity. Together, we’re creating a stronger, more hopeful community. 🙌 Thank you, SRP, for being amazing community partners!

Today, I had the honor of attending the ribbon-cutting event for the Babbitt Ranch Energy Center, a groundbreaking wind facility that will add 161 megawatts of renewable energy to SRP’s system—enough to power more than 36,000 homes. This project will help diversify our energy resource mix and complement SRP’s solar resources by providing energy during evening and nighttime hours when solar energy is not available. The energy generated from this facility will also support Google’s forthcoming data center in Mesa, showcasing the vital role renewable energy plays in powering our digital future. The Babbitt Ranch Energy Center not only demonstrates SRP's commitment to deliver reliable, affordable and sustainable energy, it is also a boon for the local community. The project is expected to generate approximately $9.5 million in additional tax revenue for Coconino County over its lifetime.
