We were proud to host our first Skilled Nursing Facility and Post-Acute SUMMIT where post acute providers in the area were able to learn more about our programs and resources.

During Native American Indian Heritage Month, we pay tribute to the diverse traditions, cultures and dignities of the indigenous nations of the Americas. We are grateful for the contributions of Native peoples, which have profoundly shaped our history and culture.

Halloween fun kicked off with two adorable therapy dogs leading the way, dressed up and ready to spread joy at the hospital! They were joined by our spirited Cancer Center and Radiology teams, who brought their own festive flair to the day. Happy Halloween to all!

Superheroes come in all sizes! Our NICU babies are ready for Halloween in adorable costumes, brightening everyone’s day with their strength and sweetness. A special thank you to our amazing NICU team for creating this unforgettable moment for families.

These puppets were made in 1929 by Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Works Progress Administration, later known as the Work Projects Administration (WPA), a New Deal agency that employed people in the arts as well as unskilled workers. These two puppets are in the Saint Francis Hospital Archives. Originally used for School of Nursing recruitment, they were found in the 1950s by Sr. Anne Elizabeth and Elsie Muska Stolle in the old Educational Building on Collins Street and were given to the Alumni Association. #ThrowbackThursday #TBT
