Meet Monica Becerra, a shining star on our team at Saint Alphonsus! Monica recently joined SAMG Garrity Health Plaza as a Family Practice Triage Nurse, but she’s no stranger to our organization. With nearly 11 years at Saint Alphonsus, Monica started her journey as a Medical Assistant while attending school full-time. She earned her nursing degree in May 2023 and is just weeks away from completing her BSN! ✨ "I’ve stayed with Saint Alphonsus because of the amazing opportunities for growth, advancement, and work-life balance. The leadership here has truly made a difference in my career, and the organization’s core values resonate with me. I’m also drawn to the community focus and the support I’ve received over the years. I’ve met so many amazing, welcoming people who have supported me throughout my career. From my early days as a Medical Assistant to my nursing preceptorship in the inpatient hospital, I’ve always felt encouraged to grow and learn. I’ve been given the tools to thrive thanks to my colleagues and patient experiences.
