🚗 It’s National Teen Driver Safety Week! 🚗 Are you a teen driver or know one? Let’s take this week to focus on safe driving habits and make the roads safer for everyone! 🚦✨ Here are a few tips from our Student Leadership Council to help keep you safe: Avoid Distractions – Put the phone down and focus on the road. Texting and driving is a recipe for disaster. 📵 Buckle Up, Every Time – Whether you're the driver or a passenger, wearing your seatbelt is a must. It's your best defense in a crash. 💺 Stick to the Speed Limit (or below!) – Speeding increases your chance of losing control. Drive at a safe speed, especially in bad weather or unfamiliar areas. 🛑 Limit Passengers – More passengers can lead to more distractions. If you're a new driver, keep it simple and limit who’s riding with you. 🚙 Never Drive Under the Influence – Alcohol, drugs, or even certain medications can impair your ability to drive safely. If you’re not 💯 , stay off the road. 🚫🍺 Let’s commit to making safe decisions this week and beyond! Tag a friend who should hear these tips (or your kiddos!). Together, we can make the road a safer place for all 🚘✨ Check the stories all week for more State specific fun & games focused on #NTDSW! #NationalTeenDriverSafetyWeek #SADD #DriveSafe #TeenDrivers #BuckleUp #NoDistractedDriving

Today is World Mental Health Day! This year's theme is prioritizing mental health in the workplace. Celebrate by taking action to make mental well-being a global priority for all, raise awareness of mental health issues around the world, and mobilize efforts in support of mental health. Here are some ideas YOU can use to celebrate in your workplace: 💡Share gratitude for your colleagues and the hard work they do to help you get your job done. 💡Prioritize meeting-free days, focus time, and time off and respect when others are prioritizing theirs. 💡Do a digital detox, spend the day without or limiting tech to refresh and reset. 💡Engage in active listening with your colleagues to better support one another in the office and beyond. 💡Try a box breathing exercise before you drive home or to the office to clear your mind and focus on the road. 💡Read the SADD Blog from our partners @erikas.lighthouse published this morning in the Newsroom! Mental health is for all. Have a great day in celebration of what we all share!
