This is a natural progression for S2G, which will continue to provide capital and value-added resources to venture and growth-stage businesses across food and agriculture, oceans, and energy. While S2G becomes independent from Builders Vision, our firms will remain focused on common outcomes across these critical sectors, fostering continued collaboration with partners in our ecosystem. As a co-founder of S2G, Lukas Walton will continue to own, invest in, and support S2G’s mission. Longtime S2G managing partners Aaron R., Sanjeev Krishnan, and Chuck Templeton will continue to lead the firm. In addition, we are thrilled to welcome Monica Jensen as S2G’s Chief Financial and Compliance Officer, and also share that S2G’s Tonya Bakritzes has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer and S2G’s Mohit Kalra has been promoted to General Counsel. It was an exciting day for the Zero Acre Farms team yesterday. We woke up to an article in The New York Times! Compared to seed oils, Zero Acre oil was described as: "...less prone to oxidation than seed oils, with more stability." "It's over 90% monounsaturated fat. It's neutral, quite light and doesn't produce greasy results." Couldn't have said it better ourselves. Many consumers have switched away from vegetable oil and seed oils for health reasons, and now restaurants are realizing that switching away from harmful oils is not just better for human and planetary health, but also for higher quality, tastier food. It’s no secret we have a plastics problem. The world produces 380 million tons of plastic per year – the same total weight as 90% of humans on Earth. While traditional recycling works well under certain circumstances, there are a number of challenges that make it less effective. As the demand grows for recycling solutions that fill the gap in current processes, there is increased interest in the opportunity for advanced technologies. The benefits of advanced recycling technologies include higher-quality outputs, the ability to handle a wider variety of plastics, and the need for fewer raw materials. Increased demand spurred by corporate pledges for recycled materials is helping to drive the development of these advanced technologies. In her article, S2G's Marisa C.
