The Rutgers Makerspace, located on the Livingston campus, is a valuable resource available at no cost to all current Rutgers faculty, staff, and students. Sponsored by the Division of Continuing Studies, this facility has an extensive array of equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters/engravers, a fully equipped woodshop, textile machinery, and more.
This space provides the Rutgers community with the opportunity to work on class projects, engage in hobbies, or ignite their entrepreneurial ambitions.
Over the past academic year, the Makerspace has successfully assisted over 3,500 visitors in bringing their projects to fruition. We anticipate an even greater influx of visitors this summer.
