Building a company's reputation through achieving ‘excellence’ isn’t enough anymore. Sandra Stahl, Co-Founder of Jacobstahl, shares in her latest Reputation Today column how showing a combination of knowledge, commitment, and appreciation is essential to a business building trust amongst internal and external stakeholders. Learn more about how 'unreasonable excellence' can take our work as communicators to the next level: https://lnkd.in/exdFVYw9
Last month, we spent a few days in Bordeaux visiting friends who, 20 years ago, turned a crumbling chateau into a wedding venue. To call the chateau beautiful is an understatement. Descriptions like, 'romantic,' 'flawless' and 'unforgettable' don't do justice to the experience their team delivers to every couple who tie the knot there. The wedding business is as highly competitive as any other. Our friends stand apart by taking excellence to a new level. I couldn't help comparing this to the work we do as communications practitioners to build sustainable, trusted reputation, and how achieving 'excellence' is just the first step -- the topic of this week's column in Reputation Today. #publicrelations https://lnkd.in/eCszinmB
