The exhibition 'Renzo Piano Building Workshop: Le Fil Rouge' will open at the Italian Institute of Culture Los Angeles from September 12 2024, 18:00 To October 31 2024. Four major public works of art by internationally acclaimed artists Ugo Rondinone, Pae White, Catherine Yass and a temporary artwork by Kathrin Böhm have been unveiled by Great Western Developments, owner of Renzo Piano Building Workshop-designed Paddington Square. This ambitious art initiative was realised in conjunction with leading London based cultural studio LACUNA - Leading Cultural Studio, with Project Architect and Partner Joost Moolhuijzen on the selection jury.

Yesterday, July 8th, RPBW unveiled the new sports arena inside the Genoa Palasport, marking a key development for the Levante Waterfront. Luigi Priano presented the project to the press and the authorities. Designed in collaboration with Coni Liguria, the arena meets the requirements for 12 major sports disciplines and can host up to 5,000 visitors. This flexible space is equipped to host a variety of events, from national and international sports to concerts and exhibitions.

It was a pleasure to be able to talk about the design process that created the new Arena Palasport in the "Waterfront di Levante". It was an exciting two years to bring life back to this architectural icon. RPBW Renzo Piano Building Workshop is overjoyed to have won the competition for the Midstad project in Frankfurt. The design for this mixed-use facility was led by Joost Moolhuijzen and Erik Volz, and re-imagines the future of European city centers as resourceful and multi-functional. The project is a 35, 000m2 rehabilitation to an existing department store on the Zeil, which integrates a six-story mass timber extension and a mixed use and community driven program. Luigi (Gigi) Priano co-led the teams who designed the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Luigi will share the building process of RPBW Renzo Piano Building Workshop firm, in collaboration with Gensler, as we worked to design and build a museum that preserves and breathes new life into the former 1939 May Company department store, now re-named the Saban Building.  He will sign the book Renzo Piano Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Los Angeles, which documents the creation of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the world’s premier movie museum. . .
