Rockpoint recently hosted a group of Steppingstone Scholars in our Boston office. We're proud that members of our firm are long-time supporters of this impactful organization.
This past Thursday, Steppingstone had the honor of presenting a Scholar panel hosted by Rockpoint Group. We want to extend our gratitude and thanks to not only our Scholars for sharing their Steppingstone stories but also the Rockpoint Group for graciously inviting us into their space. Scholars got to share their experiences while at Steppingstone, as well as reflect on its impact on their lives now that they’re finishing high school and entering college. We heard about lifelong friendships made at Steppingstone, family love of Steppingstone, support with college applications, and why many Scholars choose to come back as TAs to give Scholars the same opportunities that they had. One Scholar reflected, “Steppingstone for me just means family. I met one of my closest friends at Steppingstone. We hang out almost every day… I’m just really thankful for Steppingstone for creating a community and friendships that I still have today.” Thank you to the Rockpoint Group again for making our Scholars feel so welcomed, and congratulations to Scholars on this exciting public speaking opportunity.
