Anyone who has driven north on I-41 may have noticed a big boxy building on the east side of the highway and wondered what the business does. Rock Machinery is a distributor for many quality brands of crushing and specialty products used in the aggregate, mining, and recycling industries.    The company started as a single-man operation in 2004 out of Grafton, WI. Now located in Allenton, WI, Rock Machinery opened its new facility in 2019 and has grown their operations exponentially since. In addition to being a distributor, the business also has a service center with expertly trained technicians that offer rebuilds, installations, and full-service electrical work on a wide variety of machinery. With 20 employees on staff, they have the expertise to get the job done. They also have an apprenticeship program that is helping build the future workforce and meet the need for highly skilled maintenance technicians.     EDWC helped Rock Machinery multiple ways, first by assisting in their move to their current location in Allenton, WI and then aided with the expansion of their business’ footprint by providing financing through Washington County’s Impact Revolving Loan Fund to construct a storage facility at their location.
