Matthew joined the team as the surveyor for the concrete and exterior of the building. Ben Leaver is the chief financial officer for Robins & Morton and is responsible for corporate accounting, finance, and risk management. He held controller, director of finance, and vice president of finance positions before becoming CFO. Our Raleigh team joined other community volunteers to prepare dinner for families at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Triangle. We prepared 60 meals total for the families of children who are battling illness. Our team is grateful for the opportunity to provide support for these families. #GivingWithPurpose

Our Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Crystal Spring Tower team welcomed Elevate Construction Founder and Chief Operating Officer Jason Schroeder for a site visit, highlighting the innovations and Lean principles our team is using to complete this significant project. Jason provided the following feedback for our team: 🏗️ The project was perfectly clean, safe, and organized. 🏗️ [Senior Superintendent] Josh [Young] has the ability to connect with and care for people in a way that is unmatched in my mind. 🏗️ There was effective visual management everywhere -- it was the best I have seen. 🏗️ Everywhere I looked I could see quality at the source. 🏗️ Josh has one of the most effective and superior scheduling systems I have seen to date. We're so glad Jason was able to see all of the incredible ways our Carilion team is setting the bar for the rest of the industry!

We are devastated by the widespread destruction caused by Hurricane Helene in the Southeast. Over the past few days, we’ve been speaking with our teams, assessing needs, and trying to better understand what the coming weeks and months will bring to our communities. In these early stages of recovery, we have seen our friends and neighbors come together to help where they can, reminding us of the importance of unity. There are no words that can fully express the profound feeling of loss for so many. Our hearts are with our communities.
