Yes, we're passionate about revolutionizing how nonprofits connect with their donors. Part of that change comes in how we communicate with donors (and potential donors) in our copy and imagery. So, how can nonprofits achieve high-performing fundraising creative? Our new Executive Creative Director Matthew DiBenedetti outlines a modern, data-led creative approach that is already making waves: 1️⃣ Data-proven best practices: We begin with thorough data analysis to shape creative strategies, making sure that each aspect of a campaign is based on methods that have been demonstrated to generate a positive response. 2️⃣ Audience personalization: Shifting toward an audience-first strategy is crucial. By customizing content to address different donor groups directly, we ensure that our message not only reaches them but also truly connects, boosting interaction. 3️⃣ Data-driven delivery: Approach goes beyond just the content itself. We harness the power of data to find the perfect moments and channels for delivering personalized content to each audience. 4️⃣ Creative optimization: We rapidly test different creative elements and automatically adjust to keep only the highest-performing versions in play, ensuring every dollar spent maximizes impact. 5️⃣ Strategic testing agendas: Our testing approach is anything but random. We carefully design tests to achieve specific goals, whether it's boosting donation amounts or finding the best channels to connect with our audience. This ensures that we are always learning and improving. The Bottom Line: At RKD Group, we believe that successful fundraising is about modernizing how creative is developed and leveraging data strategically at every step. By adopting these audience-first fundraising approaches, nonprofits can significantly enhance their impact and drive better results. Check out the link below and learn more.

Bro, I probably had a little too much fun writing this month's newsletter and how my middle school boys and their friends talk today. 🤔 I got to thinking about that word “bro” and how they use it. You see, I rarely hear it when they’re talking to me ... or their grandparents ... or any adults really. But it flows so naturally when they’re among their peers. In linguistics, this is often called code-switching. They instinctively know how each audience likes to be spoken to, and they adapt their words to match expectations. 💡 The kids might be smarter than we give them credit for. After all, brands have gotten wise in recent years to this idea of how to speak to different audiences—and it’s making its way into the nonprofit space. “Audience-first fundraising” may feel like the latest buzzword 🙄 in the nonprofit sector, but there’s some real meat behind this idea of meeting different groups of donors where they are and adapting your communication to match. In the newsletter, I dig deeper into this topic and why it's such a big deal right now. Bonus note: I originally had a line in here of "Bro, this newsletter slaps." But I was corrected by my 13-year-old that no one says "slaps." He approved of "Bro, this newsletter is fire." 🔥

Bro, it’s all about the audience
