  • Today we hosted our annual Employer & Broker Summit to share about the ways Riverside Community Hospital is redefining what it means to be a community hospital. Through bringing the latest technology, world-class physicians and unique services to the region, we are transforming healthcare in the Inland Empire. Special thanks to Dr. Afshin Rashtian in our outpatient radiation oncology center for providing information on our state-of-the-art stereotactic radiosurgery system where we can provide faster, more precise radiation treatment. This technology opens up more options for patients who may have tumors in hard-to-reach areas that were previously deemed inoperable.

  • Heart Huddle! Brenda M., EVS A patient wrote,” Hello, I wanted to acknowledge and thank Brenda from the EVS Department today for her help. Standing in the hall with my mom on the gurney, she noticed I needed a chair. She also got us blankets. I so appreciate Brenda taking the time from her busy schedule to be so kind to us while we are here waiting to be admitted. She also asked if we needed anything else. What a blessing she was to us!" #BringingYourHeartTotWork #CareLikeFamily #HeartHuddle

  • Our Far West Division and local senior team participated in HCA Healthcare’s annual “Walk In Your World.” Leaders worked side-by-side with our colleagues to gain a deeper understanding of the patient experience and the challenges they face. Walk In Your World is a great opportunity to recognize the tremendous efforts of our teams and highlight the quality care they deliver each day to our community. Our Division Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Jeff Murawsky, walked with Lindsey, a telemetry nurse on our G1 unit. Lindsey and Dr. Murawsky discharged two patients, administered medications and helped a patient put on his life vest. The pair also educated patients on medication compliance with coronary artery disease. Thank you to all the Far West leaders who came to Riverside to walk with our staff! #walkinyourworld
