Ridgeview’s Sports Medicine team partners with 13 area schools to support student athletes. Our athletic trainers are onsite at the schools, on the sidelines at games, and available by phone to support student-athletes. Sandy Hanson, MS, LAT, ATC, has been with Ridgeview for 15 years, spending the last 10 as an athletic trainer at the Chanhassen High School. Sandy has experience working with athletes of all ages and abilities — from high school athletes to Division I and II collegiate athletes, all the way to Olympic athletes and members of the National Swim Team and USA Swimming. No matter what level or sport, Sandy’s goal is to help athletes succeed. Ridgeview is currently hiring athletic trainers for area high schools. A trusted Ridgeview physician for 17 years, Ehtaisham Mohammed, MD, recently joined the team of providers at Ridgeview Clinics in Chanhassen. Tristan Pennella, DO, is now seeing patients at Ridgeview Clinics in Excelsior.
