The adoption of our ESOP plan was formally completed July 31, 2024 and went into effect Jan. 1, 2024. This celebratory announcement reflects our strong and growing company with 284 employees in service, sales and admin. There will be no changes to the management structure, operations, etc., and CEO Jim MacDonald will continue to work at RFMCO and serve on the Board of Directors. We view this transition in ownership as the next step to ensure a sustainable future for RFMCO, while providing a valuable financial benefit to people who have contributed to our success. R.F MacDonald Co. has been in business since 1956, developing one of the most comprehensive service and support networks in the industry. We have a solid reputation as a leader in the supply and service of boilers, pumps and accessories for industrial and commercial customers. Our efforts to proactively promote our field service availability and capabilities are a key differentiator between our company and other equipment sales companies. MacDonald Co. strives to add value for the benefit of our customers. We package equipment into pre-piped skids, for example, simplifying field installation requirements. Engineers, contractors, and end users have favorably embraced this concept. We have in-house shop-fabricating facilities that provide these capabilities. Our field service personnel provide design input to ensure serviceable units, input not often available at the equipment manufacturer’s facilities. We are a mid-size company with over 250 team members in sales and service of boilers and pumps for commercial and industrial applications, some of whom are involved in equipment sales and others are dedicated full time to our parts and field service business. Experienced engineers are also on staff to assist contractors, engineers, and end-use customers in equipment selections, installation planning, layout, permitting, and project supervision.
