We talk with many agencies on a day-to-day basis, but it's not everyday we get to sit down at a conversation as insightful as this one. Most recently, our GTM Lead Sanjay Jenkins talked with Matt Attalah, Founder Step Labs || Web Development Agency to discuss all things web optimization using IRL brands. The first brand we covered was Scheer, a South African brand specializing in grills and fireboxes. Our top takeaways? 1. Highlight your value proposition instead of technical details in the hero section. Tell a story to engage the viewer. Your H1 is your hook—make it count 📢 2. Always place the most profitable or popular product lines in the hero section. This is what your audience sees first! 3. Make it clear what exactly is being sold. Any confusion for the site visitor can discourage them from staying on your site. Our complete conversation with Matt is at https://bit.ly/3RLpRMI Click the link to hear the whole conversation or watch the short video below for a quick highlight.

Here's our user tips and best practices of the week— Use dynamic data to configure the majority of the content within your product components! It links your components to defined data sources in Shopify, saving you the time and hassle of making manual edits to each element. For example, if the price of an item updates, you won’t need to manually input the price for every product component it appears in. Instead, simply update the data in your Shopify store, and all dynamically configured components will reflect the change. It's that easy 😉 To learn more about tips and best practices for building your landing pages with Replo, check out the full article in the comments below.

Too often, driving conversions to your Shopify storefront can feel like an uphill battle 🧗 Clicks are costly in ad spend and hard to come by, not to mention they are difficult to turn into conversions. The key to maximizing conversions from your ad dollars? By creating MANY INTEGRATED ad to product landing page funnels. And we say many, we mean it. HubSpot's research shows that stores with 30 or more landing pages generate 7 times more leads than those with fewer than 10. But what about creating integrated landing pages? Check out our quick breakdown for why you should tailor your ads to your landing pages in the slides below. Plus, we analyzed ad to ecommerce landing page funnels from top million dollar brands and created a guide with 8 of our favorite examples. Access it in the comments ⬇️

Brands are spending MILLIONS driving traffic to their Shopify storefront — but they're almost all doing something very wrong — A ton of brands continue to drive ad traffic to cluttered and disorganized collection pages, and they're tanking their conversion rates. They're basically lighting money on fire. Landing on poorly designed collection pages means higher bounce rates and more clicks before a conversion event. Visitors might lose interest, leaving you with less revenue (even with the same ad spend). We wrote up a quick guide on how to set up your collection pages the right way, and how you can make sure your conversion rates don't plummet when you use them. Check it out in the comments 😉

When we talk to brands interested in Replo a majority of them are using generic templates for their product pages. This is pretty bad — The ecommerce landscape is super cluttered, and brands with plain and generic product pages are gonna struggle to stand out You're pretty much lighting your ad money on fire One brand we really love is ~Pourri, and their product pages have four features which really stand out — 1. Provides informative product descriptions with detailed ingredients 2. Features fun, vibrant product imagery that fit their brand 3. Highlights clear, differentiated benefits like 24-hour odor protection 4. Offers bulk purchases and subscriptions with up to 15% off Using boring, bland templates is killing conversion rates for brands. If you're already spending so much money to get customers to click on your ads, you should make sure your customer experience is informative, yet unique

Turning a product page into your homepage on Shopify can streamline the customer journey. Redirects are common but not the best method. Instead, you can try to create home pages with product elements. Redirects from your homepage to your product page can lead to: 💔 URL mismatch. 📉 Poor customer journey tracking. ⏲️ Lower page speeds. Most top brands build their home pages with product elements to shorten the conversion funnel and provide a smooth user experience. Want to learn how they do it? 🍃 Last week, we talked about Apple's Iphone 15 product landing page and how much we loved it. Today, we're highlighting one of our favorite examples of lead generation landing pages—HubSpot's Free CRM Sign Up Page! It's the quintessential example of all things a lead generation page should be: 1. It highlights a strong value offering ie. a free CRM tool for visitors 🧑🤝🧑 2. It engages viewers with detailed solutions, use cases, and features to a potential problem they have 🤝 3. Last but not least, it requires account sign-ups to access the free tool. This allows HubSpot to collect visitors' email addresses and names for future email marketing efforts while directly helping them! ✉️ Want to learn more about building effective pages according to different page types? Check out the full breakdown in our comment below.

👋 Looking to get into A/B testing with your Shopify store, but not sure where to start? Not sure what the process is supposed to look like? Here are a few quick steps to get you set-up — 1. Install an A/B Testing App: Shopify has a bunch of A/B testing tools like Optimizely, VWO, or Google Analytics that you can integrate. Or, you can leverage Replo's built-in A/B testing tool! 2. Select the page or campaign you'd like to optimize. This can be a product page, homepage, checkout process, or any marketing campaign. 3. Create Variations: Use the testing tool to create different versions of your pages. Change aspects like layout, design, call-to-action buttons, or product placement. 4. Set Test Parameters: Decide how much traffic to send to each version. A 50/50 split usually works best. 5. Define your Success Metrics: Choose key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates, click-through, and revenue to gauge success of a test. To read the full step-by-step, check out the blog in our comments!
