🚨 Don’t Be Fooled by the Defense! 🚨 Check out the play I just posted! 👀 This one dives into the tricky world of legality versus force. Kane Fitzgerald breaks down the “T” principle for block/charge situations. In this clip, the defender never establishes a legal guarding position in the dribbler’s path, then flails himself off contact he initiated — trying to fool us into calling an offensive foul and letting him off the hook. Here’s the key: Force doesn’t decide the call. The real question is: 👉 Is the defender in a legal guarding position? No? ➡️ Blocking foul. Yes? ➡️ No call or offensive foul (depending on the contact). The right call starts with the right question.
