The Complex Care Units (CCU) at Bethany Children's Health Center provides specialized healthcare to children with complex medical needs. The patients, ranging from newborn to 20 years old, often have chronic health conditions requiring years-long hospital stays. Over 25 years old, the outdated CCU was in need of updating. REES worked with Bethany Children’s to transform the CCU into modern, colorful and home-like spaces, fully equipped to serve the patients. Congratulations to Cleveland County on the groundbreaking of their fairgrounds renovation and expansion! The existing exhibit hall will be repurposed into an adaptable, multifunctional space, ready to accommodate everything from the annual county fair to public health needs. The expansion will create room for larger events, boosting visitor experiences and making the fairgrounds a state-of-the-art destination for gatherings in Norman.

We’re especially excited to wish a happy 15-year anniversary to REES’ CEO, Allan Parr. While leading REES, Allan has helped us grow in all sorts of design and financial ways. But what we appreciate most about Allan is his unfailing commitment to take care of our clients and our team. As a result, REES is a stronger and more capable firm than when he joined us 15 years ago. Thank you for everything you do at REES—we’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone with you!

The City of Sulphur Springs had the opportunity to renovate their outdated senior citizens center using grant funding from the Texas Community Resiliency Program. They asked REES to design a welcoming space where senior citizens could gather, but that was also flexible enough to serve as a shelter in times of emergency. The result was a new 11,000-square-foot building that was one of the first to be built with the grant. It features a spacious multipurpose room, meeting rooms, a craft space and a library.
