We are proud to share that the Domestic Abuse Response Alliance (DARA), a multi-award-winning initiative that provides pro bono legal services to survivors of domestic abuse, has placed its 200th case. We are one of a few law firms to be a founding member of DARA, and in DARA we work with LawWorks, the National Centre for Domestic Violence, Finding Legal Options for Women Survivors and Beck Fitzgerald. Our DARA team, led by partner Sally-Ann Underhill and associates Alia Khalil and Louisa Martac, with support from counsel and head of EMEA Pro Bono Becca Naylor has dedicated over 630 hours in the past year to help clients obtain protective orders against their abusers in the family courts. We are honoured to be part of this collaborative project that makes a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
