Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine – Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine

Strengthening cooperation in cybersecurity with Recorded Future I met with Christopher Ahlberg, CEO of Recorded Future, the world's largest intelligence company. The company has been supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, providing intelligence, assistance in investigating war crimes and preventing cyberattacks. In December 2022, we've signed a memorandum that provided Ukrainian state agencies with access to Recorded Future analytical tools worth of $20+ million. These solutions help to detect cyberattacks at an early stage and protect critical infrastructure. The company cooperates with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the State Special Communications Service, the GUR, the SSU, the Ministry of Defense, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Cyber Police, and others. In addition, Recorded Future has opened an office in Ukraine and hired 100 Ukrainian specialists. I am grateful to Christopher for his visit to Kyiv and support! New important projects and areas of cooperation are ahead.

Amazing visit to Ukraine this week. Spending US Election night in Kyiv had a certain sense of profoundness to it, the next 10 years will be very uncomfortable for the world and the clarity between what is good and what is evil will be clear. It is more important than ever to pick the right side. Ukraine is not only on the right side, they are on our side, they are willing to fight and die for the freedom of all of us. Very few causes are this important. Two comments from our Ukrainian friends stood out to me this week: “There are no good or bad events, there are only events; the important is what you make out of them” and “Continuing on current path does not work, we must try to adapt better”. Short sentences with much wisdom as we consider and shape our world, not just Ukraine. Recorded Future has a very large number intelligence partnerships in Ukraine (>20), and meeting with the incredible people at SSSCIP, Ministry of Digital Transformation, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Cyber Security Coordination Center, and others give us much hope for the future, even if it’s not an easy path in front of them (or us!). Thank you for the opportunity to work together. Let me repeat earlier words: Recorded Future is not neutral. We continue to stand with Ukraine and will apply our full resources and capabilities to support them in their fight against Russia, as long as it takes (and we mean it).

Join us on Nov 19 for an inside look at the capture of double agent Robert Hanssen. Hanssen spent over 20 years selling classified U.S. intelligence to Russia and the Soviet Union, making him one of the most damaging spies in U.S. history. Former FBI operative Eric O'Neill will share insights into the covert operations, the tactics used to gather intelligence, and how counterintelligence tactics can apply to today’s cybersecurity threats: https://bit.ly/3YSiyHe?

"The ransomware industry is thriving, not losing. Despite various law enforcement wins against ransomware actors, like the sweeping takedown of LockBit and the seizure of Radar, hackers continue to reap the rewards of these data-theft attacks — and 2024 looks set to be their most profitable year to date. That’s according to Allan Liska, a ransomware expert who serves as a threat intelligence analyst at cybersecurity firm Recorded Future." via TechCrunch
