Reach Out and Read envisions a world where every child has the relationships essential to learn and thrive. Over the months of 2024, we are showcasing our staff. We hope you enjoy getting to know them more! -- Get to know Julie Dorshorst, Program Manager My home city is: Elk Mound, Wis., and also have roots in Rudolph and South Milwaukee suburbs! Some of the things I like to spend my free time doing are: playing pickleball, photography, painting watercolors, and ballroom dance. My favorite children's book is: My favorite books I read to my kids were (Lars) the Little Polar Bear series by Hans de Beer. My personal theme song is: Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey. If I was a candy bar, I would be: a Reese’s Take 5.
