We had a fantastic Annual Meeting last night with great food, great fellowship, and great information. This was another record year for us, and we greatly appreciate the support of our investors along with our Board Chair fred smith and the rest of our board of directors whose support has been critical to our success. And, of course, our EDC staff made it all happen. Kudos to Crystal Gettys, Lisa Bennett, and Kevin Franklin for a blockbuster year!
Over the past 12 months, we've announced investment of over $8.5 billion, along with more than 4,200 new jobs, blowing our 5-year goals out of the water! Toyota Motor Corporation led the way again this year, announcing $8B in new investment and 3,000 jobs at their new battery plant. We also worked hard to bring Ross Stores, Inc. to our community with plans develop a 1.7 million sf distribution facility and a resulting $450 million investment and 852 new jobs. Lesser in value but no less important, we appreciate growth and investment by MD Mattress, Carolina Pellet, Toyota Tsusho America, FUJIHATSU & TOYOTSU Battery Components North Carolina LLC, Jowat Corporation, Theodore Alexander, Green Metals, Inc., Amor Furniture and Bedding, LLC, and Pemmco Manufacturing, Inc.

Our keynote speaker was Laura Ullrich, economist with the Richmond Fed, whose presentation and data are always engaging. We appreciate her willingness to join us.
Finally, our venue for the evening, Harvest House in Ramseur, couldn't have been better - great facility, beautiful setting, and an excellent meal.
