Rally

Last month we opened a cafe at Rally as a bit of an experiment. Our main space, the Rally Museum, has become a weekend destination in SoHo, but with more people popping up on weekdays this summer we wanted to give them a place to relax amongst a selection of items that would spark conversation. Its also just a really interesting way to start your day. And it started to work... We did it from scratch with our own beans, signature drinks, and specialty baked goods all done with as much care and attention to detail as we put into *everything* we do here at Rally. But as is the case with many businesses in NY, the commercial real estate space and working with owners & landlords to find a deal that isn’t prohibitive to the business is “challenging” to put it nicely. So at the end of this month, we’ll be closing this location as we prepare our reopen in a new location downtown. But we’ll be here through August before the move and this Fall. For those that don’t know us (yet), come hang in a space that was built for a more peaceful start to the morning - and on weekends, grab an espresso and a biscotti and browse the entire museum at your own pace. 📍446 Broadway (btw Howard & Grand)  Mon - Fri: 9am-3pm Sat & Sun: 11am-5pm

This week, Fanatics and Sotheby's announced a new offering that we’re thrilled to be a part of - the Fanatics Collect auction via Sotheby’s - a high-end trading card auction featuring the most important pieces in sports historyin the $100K and up category. This initial auction from the two collectibles giants is focused on quality over quantity, and the star of the show is Rally’s 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson card, which we’re thrilled to see front and center in the official announcement. Last week, we brought this card to a vote amongst it's 900+ investors. The shareholders unanimously agreed to send the card to auction. Now, we await the auction preview and the eventual sale of this gem from one of the greatest talents in baseball history. We’re excited to continue to build relationships with the leaders in the space and continue to push the hobby forward for future generations.
