Overcoming unique challenges as a queer youth through mindfulness practices, creative expression, and storytelling, they have transformed their experiences into a powerful tool for positive impact. With over ten years of global performance experience, BrandElsa has showcased their talent and dynamic personality with Disney Parks and Resorts, Disney Cruise Line, and Sesame Workshop. Their touring experience allowed them to create memorable performances for thousands and fueled their passion for creating magical, engaging, and immersive content. In 2020, BrandElsa founded Haus of Elevation, an impact-driven company dedicated to inspiring and motivating youth through empowerment workshops and events. BrandElsa’s platform now helps the next generation embrace authenticity, unlock unapologetic courage, and experience radical self-acceptance. At Rainbow Labs, they will play a crucial role in organizing and expanding our programs, ensuring we continue to foster creativity, inclusivity, and support for LGBTQ+ youth. This disparity is often due to fears of discrimination and lack of safe spaces within sports environments. Our guide provides essential strategies for organizations, coaches, and community leaders to create affirming sports environments. We are delighted to announce that we just wrapped up our City of Hope year-long transformative grant. This grant has empowered us to expand and enhance the tools and resources that support our mentors—key figures in fostering the growth and development of LGBTQ+ youth. Under the collaborative leadership of our Volunteer Manager, Jack Helton, and with the invaluable support of a team of content experts, we have successfully redesigned our mentor engagement strategies. This was a collective effort, and we are proud to share the key achievements from this grant, which include the creation of a new mentor handbook, the development of targeted training topics essential for effective mentoring, and the establishment of a streamlined application process for new mentors. We capped off the grant period with a presentation at City of Hope alongside other grantees, where we shared our progress and learned from the community. A heartfelt thank you to the City of Hope for supporting our efforts to support the LGBTQ+ community. Over three transformative days, our board members from across the country came together to deepen their engagement and advance our strategic objectives. The retreat commenced with our lively Pre-Pride Kick Off Party, providing a festive backdrop for celebrating the achievements of the past year. Throughout the event, team-building dinners fostered stronger connections among members, enhancing our collaborative spirit.
