Thank you, thank you to the crew at Gambrinus Malting for hosting Team RahrBSG in Spallumcheen, BC last week! From touring the facility, to tasting the region’s finest whisky at Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery, to sharing fresh Canadian craft beers on the shores of Kalamalka Lake, your hospitality was top tier. Cheers as well to all the kind folks at Silver Start Brewing and the Holiday Inn Express in Vernon!

We know comparing technical yeast data can be confusing. That's why we put on our lab coats and ran a survey comparing five different dried yeast brands against Fermentis by Lesaffre. The numbers don’t lie: Fermentis packs more viable cells into a 500g brick, and they do a better job keeping contaminants out. For 10 billion reasons to brew with Fermentis, dig into the data in the RahrBSG blog. https://bit.ly/3MNalxe

Did someone say "English Lager"? Rahr Technical Center Brewers Jake Thompson and Sean Tynan recently had the pleasure of hosting Crisp Malt Technical Sales Manager Joshua Wurzbacher in the brewhouse. Head over to the RahrBSG Blog to check out their recipe for a royally good English Lager featuring Crisp Chevallier® Heritage Malt! H/t HVG German Hops and Fermentis by Lesaffre for rounding out the recipe! https://bit.ly/3MKRiU1

Last month a few hardworking folks from team RahrBSG flew over to France and Belgium to visit our friends and partners at Fermentis by Lesaffre and Mouterij Dingemans. Between behind-the-scenes tours and educational meetings, they made time together to sample Trappist beers straight from the tank and explore the magic happening at Rodenbach Beer. To everyone at Dingemans and Fermentis who had a hand in hosting us, thank you for your hospitality!

The talented team at Wild Mind Ales in Minneapolis cracked the collaboration code when they roasted Rahr North Star Pils™ in Pizzeria Lola's world-famous copper pizza oven. Brewers around the world trust Fermentis by Lesaffre SafLager™ W-34/70 to produce clean, refreshing lagers. That includes Brewers Jake Thompson and Sean Tynan at the Rahr Technical Center. They've reached for W-34/70 when brewing styles such as Helles, Czech Pale Lager, Vienna Lager, and more. "It’s a great showcase for malt and hops, and it’s consistent every time. It also produces subtle esters that we like. Overall, it gives us balanced, highly drinkable beers."

Behold The Great Gambrino, a brilliant West Coast IPA from our friends at More Brewing Co. Featuring 100% Gambrinus Malting IPA Malt and several classic American hops, here's what Head Brewer David Ziebell has to say about brewing with a malt tailor-made for IPAs. "I would definitely recommend it. You get a good IPA profile and plenty of body with the standard single-infusion mash rest. It’s easy, multi-use, and predictable." Get all the grainy details on The Great Gambrino and brewing with Gambrinus IPA Malt at the RahrBSG Blog. https://lnkd.in/gMTkFQC8
