Serving Hospitality through Design for Over 45 Years

About us

In 1975, Joe Rabun founded what would become a leading architectural force within the hospitality industry. Now, over 49 years later, Rabun Architects has amassed a catalogue of numerous successful, luxury hospitality projects and satisfied clients. Throughout our history, we have made lasting, meaningful impacts in the hospitality industry: We worked with Hilton to develop the first prototype for the Hilton Garden Inn, which has been widely regarded as one of the most successful limited service hospitality programs in history. We are responsible for bringing luxury brands into several new markets, including The St. Regis and Four Seasons in Atlanta, and the Westin in Birmingham, Alabama. And we are long-standing members of the IACC, working to ensure quality meeting and conference space in provided in our projects. Our connections with major international hotel and conference center operators and developers, combined with expert working knowledge and modern design technology keeps numerous clients coming back to Rabun. Our team of architects and designers leads in the industry in hospitality innovation, leverage the power of BIM and virtual reality to provide clients with a realistic experience of their project early on in the design process, ensuring quality of design is carried all the way to the final product. From intimate renovations to complex mixed-use developments, we provide every client with quality design, rooted in the practical, working knowledge of hotels and convention spaces.
