What a great event last night! Paula M. Trienens Institute for Sustainability and Energy and Northwestern's Querrey InQbation Lab (The Q) recently joined forces and launched the Trienens-Q Cleantech Accelerator, an integrated array of #translational resources laser-focused on advancing #breakthroughs in #decarbonization, #renewableenergy and #sustainability. We had the opportunity to highlight the available funding and programming, hear about new startup NylaNova's launch from the accelerator from co-founder Yosi Kratish, and then engage in an incredibly robust panel discussion with Ben Schlatka of Material Impact, Gami Dadusc Maislin of Convergent Ventures and Shashank Churukanti of Evergreen Climate Innovations, moderated by Jeffrey Richards. We so appreciate Ben, Gami, and Shashank sharing their experiences to advise and support our university entrepreneurs! Such great Q&A with our audience! Invaluable pieces of wisdom from our panel - 🔆 It is never too early to understand voice of the customer 🔆 Venture capital is not always the answer 🔆 And take advantage of university entrepreneurship resources! Once you launch, the clock is ticking! Kudos to Phil Carter for his vision and energy in building this accelerator, to Sonia Kim for making The Q an incredible resource and hub for our entrepreneurs, and the Paula M. Trienens Institute for Sustainability and Energy's team for being amazing partners!

We are pleased to share positive interim results from our Phase 1 clinical study of VQ-101, a small molecule allosteric activator of GCase. In healthy volunteers in Phase 1a, VQ-101 demonstrated good tolerability, robust lysosomal GCase activation, and pharmacokinetics consistent with once daily dosing. The study, conducted at Centre for Human Drug Research, has advanced to the Phase 1b portion in patients with Parkinson’s disease. https://lnkd.in/eqRzbQct
