NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration has successfully launched the #GOES-U satellite - the fourth and last of the GOES-R series of satellites, all using Quantic BEI's angular sensor encoders in their Advanced Baseline Imagers. Once operational, GOES-U will become GOES-19, and be positioned to monitor weather systems and environmental hazards affecting most of North America, as well as Central and South America, the Caribbean, and the Atlantic Ocean.
