And that’s a wrap on week one of the Publicis Health summer internship program! We kicked things off on Monday with our orientations in NYC and Philly. We followed that up on Thursday in NYC with a full block of programming, including: -A panel of former interns who work at our agencies now (Kara Bissonnette , Zachary H. , Lindsey Pollicino & Rose Altema ) -A Q&A talkback with Publicis Health CEO Stephen Farquhar -A session on cultivating kindness in the workplace led by Lori DePace and Jerremy Howell (Philly - we’ll see you next week for that same programming, don’t worry!) What an amazing start to what’s proving to be an amazing summer of learning what it means to #internwithpurpose

“Gratitude is a celebration that we are all invited to.” -Cleo Wade I am so grateful for Lori DePace inviting me to co-present with her today to Baruch College students about Kindness Amplified: Building Inclusive Leaders Through Empathy and Collaboration. I’m a proud alumna of Baruch and it brings me so much joy and memories to be back there in-person. I was the President of the Baruch college chapter of American Advertising Federation during my junior year and being a student leader was some of my favorite memories of college to learn about people and leadership skills. I love that we had the opportunity to introduce Publicis Health to students, share about Publicis Groupe Working with Cancer Initiative and empower the students about how kindness is emerging as a pivotal force for success within organizations and how it fosters collaborative, inclusive teams and leaders. It was truly an honor to see Lori DePace shine her light and present to the students with all her magic. She is why Publicis Health has an award-winning internship program that has been recognized by WayUp as one of the top 100 internship programs in the United States and recognized by RippleMatch as a Campus Forward Award winner. Today, we hosted an enlightening discussion, "Creating Equitable Healthcare in the Black Community" featuring Dr. Larry Wallace Jr. of Black Men's Health Clinic and Seneca Harrison of Quality Clinical Research moderated by LaChanel Hemphill of Digitas Health. They shared their expertise and perspective on how we can work together to bridge the healthcare gap and they acknowledged the inequalities the Black Community faces while discussing ways to address the barriers. This panel was a powerful reminder that while the challenges are significant, so is our collective capacity for innovation and change. #HealthEquity #BlackMensHealthClinic
