Equipped with high-resolution sonar, it provides detailed underwater data, making it an essential part of our team’s toolkit. And let’s just say, when the Z-Boat hits the water, it stirs up quite the fan frenzy! Our field crews are no strangers to cheering from the banks, rooting for the Z-Boat as it glides across rivers, lakes, and beyond, turning heads and collecting vital data all at once!

Today, Governor Kathy Hochul toured the major construction work taking place for the I-81 Viaduct Project in Syracuse. She was accompanied by NYSDOT Commissioner Marie Therese Dominguez and I-81 Viaduct Project Director Betsy Parmley. During her visit, Governor Hochul also met with two Syracuse residents and a member of the Onondaga Nation, all of whom are participating in the project’s Local Hire Initiative. This initiative is one of the first of its kind in the nation under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL).
