A warm welcome to our newest Projeo team member, Operations Engineer Marielle Sjåstad Langseth! Marielle brings years of experience as a wireline field engineer in the deepwater offshore Gulf of Mexico, where she managed complex operations while prioritizing safety and efficiency in demanding environments. Next week, we’re off to Waikoloa, Hawaiʻi, for the Geothermal Rising Conference from October 27-30! ♨️ 📅 Tuesday, October 29 9:10 AM: Kellen Gunderson will give a talk on characterizing sedimentary geothermal plays and reservoirs in Utah’s Great Salt Lake basin. 10 AM: Kellen will chair a session on geothermal reservoirs. 📅 Wednesday, October 30 10 AM: Katerina Yared, PG PMP CDI.D will chair a session on downhole logging. 10 AM: Kellen will chair a session on geothermal reservoirs. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)'s Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO) recently launched the GEODE project, a five-year initiative aimed at enhancing geothermal energy deployment across the U.S. Leveraging the expertise, technology, and experience from the oil and gas sector, this initiative seeks to significantly advance geothermal energy. An established consortium of experts is tasked with developing a roadmap to address technological and knowledge gaps in the field - and we're proud to share that our own Katerina Yared, PG PMP CDI.D was selected to join one of these working groups!
