Last Saturday (10/5), we kicked off our E-CADEMY program with an incredible 95 enrolled students, 3 new instructor assistants, and a talented group of SYNCERE Student Interns! 🎉 Our students dove right into the action, some engaging in a hands-on challenge where they created their own shoes using only common school supplies! ✂️👟 We love seeing their creativity and problem-solving skills shine as they tackle real-world engineering tasks. 🚀 We officially kicked off our E-CADEMY Program this Saturday (10/5), and it was packed with excitement and learning! Along with starting our classes, our seniors attended a post-secondary workshop with representatives from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign The Grainger College of Engineering. 🎓 They shared valuable insights on applying to college and crafting personal statements, followed by hands-on support from our wonderful volunteers. A special thank you to our speakers and volunteers who guided our students through the college application process! This summer, Project SYNCERE students had an exciting opportunity to explore engineering using the Air Pollution Engineering Box, generously provided by the James Dyson Foundation. This hands-on curriculum helped students understand how engineers can address critical global challenges like air pollution.
