We are delighted to share two deliverables that have emerged from Prizmah and Jewish Education Innovation Challenge's Jewish Day School Educator Pipeline Working Group, which met over nine-months to investigate current and previous initiatives, explore new ideas, and plan for the future. https://bit.ly/3WMaGqc The first is a Summary Report that details our step-by-step journey, what we learned, and what surfaced from each session of the working group. Schools need teachers. Last year Prizmah and the Jewish Education Innovation Challenge convened a Jewish day school educator pipeline working group to investigate initiatives, explore new ideas, and plan for the future. In Boston, Prizmah is working in partnership with CJP - Combined Jewish Philanthropies, The BEKER FOUNDATION, and other local funders on a project called "Stronger Together", led by Prizmah's Aimee Close. This initiative was formed to create collaboration between the 14 Boston-area Jewish day schools to strengthen the entire ecosystem. Like the rest of the education sector, Jewish day schools in Boston are faced with the challenge of recruiting, retaining, and supporting classroom teachers.
