Research has shown that Americans living in poverty are much less likely to vote than those living in better-off neighborhoods. What is unclear is whether poverty causes lower participation or is just correlated with it. SPIA and its Princeton Center for Information Technology Policy have launched the Princeton AI Dialogues, a multi-faceted initiative on artificial intelligence that explores the hard policy questions around the development, application, and governance of these extraordinarily powerful technologies.
