Across the country, #PrimroseTeachers bring our mission to life by striving to forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children. From teaching students important values, such as honesty and generosity, to helping them strengthen the skills that will help them succeed in the future, teachers play an invaluable role at every Primrose school. This week, our Primrose Support Team partnered with the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta’s Early Learning Readiness (ELR) program as part of our celebration for National Day of Belongingness! 🫶🎉 Our Support Center staff packed an astounding 178 take-home classroom kits for families enrolled in the program. These kits were filled with bilingual books, art supplies, developmental toys and heartfelt handwritten notes in both English and Spanish. After assembling the kits, we gathered for a potluck to celebrate belongingness, foster #community and share what makes us all unique.  We're honored to join forces with the YMCA of Metro Atlanta and support early learning programs like ELR. For more than 40 years, fostering a sense of belongingness has been at the core of Primrose Schools. In Primrose schools, teachers use books, music, engaging art projects and more to help children see themselves reflected in the world around them and share about the traditions and activities that are important to their families. And every year on September 29, we celebrate our National Day of Belongingness when we invite families from Primrose and beyond to join us in exploring the idea of belongingness and looking for ways to nurture this feeling at home and in their community. At Primrose, our mission is rooted in continual development, promoting cooperation, and empowering early educators to pave the way for a brighter future. Both for the children in communities they serve and for their personal growth! This month, Primrose schools across the Greater San Antonio area hosted over 220 #PrimroseTeachers for Professional Development Day. The theme for this event was 'Kid for a Day', and these early educators embraced it with joy as they engaged in stimulated learning and team-building exercises. Attendees also heard from guest speaker, Cynthia Krosky, about the 'Power of One'. Social media is here to stay and it’s easier to access than ever before — including for young children. Our annual Caring and Giving Food Drive won the Franchise Innovation Award for Best PR Campaign! Every November, Primrose students and families join teachers, staff and Franchise Owners to collect nonperishable food items to donate to local food banks. The Caring and Giving Food Drive reflects our innovative #dedication to raising good citizens, and we are proud that this collective effort has been recognized with such a prestigious award. We're proud to support teachers by providing them opportunities to learn and grow. In June, Primrose schools in Middle Tennessee hosted a Professional Development Day for over 340 Primrose teachers!  The day was filled with networking, professional skill building and fun team exercises like pottery painting and creating custom bouquets. Attendees also heard from guest speaker, Alex Dorr and learned the importance of reality-based leadership.  Thank you to everyone who helped bring this Professional Development Day to life, from schools and Franchise Owners to our phenomenal guest speaker and dedicated teachers who help build a brighter future for their students. #PrimroseSchools #ProfessionalDevelopment #ECE
