Greenish-Yellow ✅ Describe your week in one word: Adventurous ✈ What gave you the most energy? 🔋 Reconnecting with Jennifer Sullivan and Jessica Matlin from Fat Mascara and Anoopreet Rehncy and Harjas Grewal from Sunday March. I love talking to founders who are experts in storytelling. I left both calls feeling inspired. What drained you the most? 📦 The logistical nightmare of moving from Boston to Miami without taking personal off time because I have a wedding in LA next weekend and will need to be offline for that. How’s your sleep? Yellow 🌤 Average 6 - 7 hours but restless being in a new environment. To be expected. Fitness? Red 😡 Yoga once and 2 hour long walks. Oh, and lugging my 70lbs and 63lbs luggages through airports. Social life? Green ✅ Coworked at Industrious with a friend and went for a sunset walk with a friend at the beach. Hobbies? Fiery Red 😡 None. Absolutely nothing. Ever wondered what it’s like to run a startup while moving to a new city? Let me paint you a picture: It’s chaotic 🌪 🏠 Apartment Hunting? I gave up. I could not focus during the day with Zillow tabs crowding my Google Docs, Airtable spreadsheets, and Canva presentations. After days of zero progress, I decided to stay in a short-term furnished apartment for now. Convenience is key. 👯♀️ Saying goodbye to friends? A must Finding gaps in my color-coded calendar filled with client calls, trips to FedEx, and accountant meetings. Seemed impossible but somehow I made it work. I was able to spend the last night with friends on my rooftop. (I was late btw because the clothing donation location was closed and I had to make 2 trips) Very grateful for my friends patience. 🫠 Finding time to exercise? The gym does not see me. Well, let's just say my “workouts” lately involve speed walking to and from my lobby in between meetings to meet the people buying furniture on Facebook Marketplace. Despite this (temporary) hectic moment, I am grateful for the support from my team and can’t wait to settle into my new city. See you later, Boston.
