GOOD AMERICAN switched to PostPilot from another vendor to effectively hit their full-funnel. 👖📬 It's working. The team first A/B tested winback campaigns, and once a winner was ID'd, we set up programmatic version of the campaign. Now, when customers hit certain RFM parameters, we automatically send them a postcard to drive a repurchase. 💌 Those campaigns are driving an 8x+ ROI and $1.40 in incremental revenue PER SEND. (That's data they can track in real-time campaign dashboards.) Performance Marketing Manager Caitlin McKenna said: "PostPilot has an incredibly streamlined reporting process that allows us to easily analyze data and performance.” The team recently launched their first cold prospecting campaign with us, too. Stay tuned. Full story in comments. 👇

About us
We believe that in a world of digital overload, your customers crave tangible connections with your brand. PostPilot is direct mail made for DTC/ecommerce. Our platform makes it a cinch to send one-off and lifecycle postcard marketing campaigns. Think Klaviyo for postcards. 80% of your customers don’t open your emails or are not subscribed. The iOS update is making Facebook harder than ever to reach your customers while competition is still driving up CPCs & CAC. PostPilot cuts through the digital clutter. Our individually personalized cards get a nearly 100% read rate, typically for less than the cost of a click. Hundreds of 7-9 figure customers (mostly Shopify/Shopify Plus stores like Bulletproof, Boom, Overtone.co, Taylor Stitch) consistently achieve 1000%+ ROIs on their campaigns, driving incremental revenue, LTV, and profits.

95% of ecommerce companies leave money on the table because they don't do this. But first, let me get you some context. In any ecommerce, the segment of people abandoning checkout is the most valuable group you can market. After all, they were just 1-click away from completing the order. That's why the classic "Cart Abandon Flow" email automation has the highest "Revenue Per Recipient". Now, smart marketers know that sending multiple emails will increase the likelihood of a purchase, even better if you offer some discount. However, 95% of ecommerce stop here. They just send emails. What we do for our clients goes one step further as we implement the Direct Mail channel. Here is how we do it: 1) We analyze how many emails in the "Cart Abandon Flow" the prospect is getting 2) We analyze the timeframe from the first to the last email 3) We look at what offers are in the emails 4) We now implement a 2-step postcard campaign with a better offer 5) We test offers and time between postcards 6) The clients get extra revenue that otherwise they wouldn't get 7) Customer is happy = we are happy A couple of things to keep in mind: 📍 We send the postcards AFTER they get all the emails from the "Cart Abandon Flow". 📍 Email is cheap compared with postcards, so we want to maximize conversions from the email flow 📍 We can send the postcard because we have the customer's address they inserted at checkout before abandoning it 📍 It's essential to test offers to see what works 📍 Personalization works! Try to make the offer specific to what the customer has in the cart

"We can just hand over the creative assets and then PostPilot does the rest." - Brandon Amoroso ⚡ (That's how it should be, right?) toty brought on Brandon to consult (then lead) marketing. Soon after, he brought the brand onto PostPilot, launched some campaigns, and the wins started to roll in. They started with a few retargeting campaigns to "make [their] media spend more effective" and then layered in winbacks to keep early customers coming back. The results? Strong. ➝ MailMatch (retargeting email susbs who haven't purchased yet) drove an avg. 5x+ ROI ➝ Winbacks led to an avg. 4x+ ROI Now, the team's leaning further into mail and has set up nearly 10 automations to drive additional revenue via winbacks and retargeting. 10? Sounds like a lot of work, but, as Brandon explains, "The PostPilot team is hands-on with setup and implementation. So, it’s been a very low lift for us."

J.Crew's gotten a ton of coverage on their catalog relaunch (see today's WSJ). Why’d they bring it back? Because direct mail drives higher CLVs. If you remember holiday last year, Amazon launched a catalog too. Amazon gets it. Catalogs in particular drive the highest lifetime value, so when brands (like Nike) started to cut catalogs and physical mail over the last decade, it hurt their marketing. So now, brands want to start launching catalog programs again. And at PostPilot, we make it easy to try out--we call it the Modern Catalog. We can design and launch one for you in a week or so. Low minimums. Inexpensive. And if you want to try a catalog, the holidays are the perfect time to do that. In the video [at 1:06], I go through some real catalogs our design team has created for brands: -> Ones more like a website or LP -> Ones leaning in on lifestyle shots -> Ones more like a magazine (a la J.Crew ) You can take yours in dozens of different ways. And we’ll design, print, and mail them for you. DM me if you’re interested or check out our catalog page, link in the comments👇👇
