About us
Dementia is a life-changing condition that puts everyone at risk for neglect or abuse. Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care offers practical, supportive education so you can adapt to changes and live life with confidence, quality, and compassion. Founded in 2006 by internationally renowned dementia educator, Teepa Snow, Positive Approach to Care is not only the name of the company, but also how we describe Teepa’s approach to working with and supporting others. PAC is a remote company based in North Carolina, but has team members across the US, the UK, and Australia. Striving to improve the lives of those living with dementia and their care partners, PAC produce materials and programs to enhance one’s awareness, knowledge, and skill set regarding dementia and dementia care. PAC offers events, products, and training opportunities for organizations, professionals care partners, family and friend care partners, and the general population alike to foster an inclusive global community that sees dementia as a disability, not a death sentence. In addition to the live training sessions, PAC provides comprehensive training packages for professional organizations that include pre- and post-assessments, manipulatives, and certificates of completion.
