    You know those product recommendation quizzes that help Shopify stores get 10% conversion rates? They're underused because they take so long to create manually (conditional mapping, etc.) and keep updated. The most complex ones take over a week to make! 😱 We made an AI model that makes them in minutes (see 60-sec demo below). Combining constraints with specificity and higher-quality data yielded impressive results with a much smaller model 🤓 It turns out that AI also makes better quizzes, with 1/4 the questions (fewer drop-offs) and more accurate recommendations. We're also adding features in the next two weeks to help convert customers from social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Youtube, etc.) by engaging them in a fun giveaway, capturing contact details, buying preferences, and exposing customers to your products. The data then syncs to Klaviyo or whatever marketing platform you're using for personalized marketing comms 🔥

    Merchants are busy. But it takes them hours or days (and sometimes even over a week) to create a quiz with other Shopify quiz apps 👎 We've focused a ton on time-to-value with AI and we now see merchants getting their first quiz live in minutes, then their first attributed orders soon after that. Never gets old seeing this 😎

    We released a simplified, interactive version of our quiz preview and moved controls into the editor. Our quiz generation AI ✨ is so good now that most merchants don't need to make any changes! So, now it's easier to generate a quiz and have it live on your store in ~2 minutes 🚀

    Here's a Memorial Day example giveaway quiz for Blackstone Products griddles, turning the complexity of picking the right griddle into a marketing opportunity. It'd also be worth testing a similar quiz on collection pages to drive more conversions.     Have you ever tried NEST New York candles? They're my wife's favorite. And if I were to get her a candle for Mother's Day, I'd have no idea which one to get. I can't be alone there 🙋♂️ We recently pushed another major update to our recommendations AI, so I thought, why not try using it to pick a candle for a Mother's Day gift? So I did. I was impressed with the results, see for yourself below 👇 From a marketing standpoint, imagine the benefits of including a quiz every time you promote products that are hard to choose between on social media, like candles or diffusers. It not only helps customers make a choice, but it also grows your email list and captures valuable zero-party data for personalized marketing communications.     Marketing idea #3 - For apparel brands (shoes in this case ) ⬇️ Did you know it's Earth Day? 🌎 It took me a while to get my first pair of Allbirds. I heard a lot about them, but they had so many styles, it took a bit to finally take the time to pick. I wonder how many others are in the same...<can't..resist..dad joke>...shoes 🤦♂️🙄 They also have a huge social following. Since Allbirds is an environmentally friendly brand, using Earth Day to challenge their followers to find the perfect pair of earth-friendly shoes could boost conversions. And for those who don't immediately convert, both Allbirds and those customers now know what their perfect match is, which makes buying even easier by getting them into the right welcome email series. 90% of social followers are just window shoppers, so you need creative ways to continuously get them across the finish line. The quiz below took a few minutes to generate (on my phone), making it fast enough to include with most social posts. It's also worth testing them on Shopify collection pages to see how they boost conversions by helping prospective customers decide & buy.

    Marketing idea #1 - For events that sell merch: I was inspired by Coachella since it's that time of year. They have a huge social following, but they could leverage it better to sell more merch, which would further boost event awareness & engagement. I made this Instagram example in a few min, but should it also happen on TikTok, YouTube & anywhere else they have an audience. The cost? A shirt 👕 The gist: 1. Name it something fun & pick the best-selling merch (their store is on Shopify) 2. Generate a product quiz with a click 3. Fans take quiz for a chance to win their top pick 4. Fans discover merch they love most (product awareness) 5. Coachella gets contact info & buying preferences from fans to inform future merch + personalize marketing comms throughout the year Everyone loves social giveaways. The cost is whatever you give away & it takes just 5 minutes to create. It just might be the highest ROI marketing you ever do! Do this every day of the event and tell me it won't double merch sales.

    Marketing idea #2 - For food & beverage brands (adult beverages in this case) ⬇️ I recently discovered BRĒZ, a cool brand that makes non-alcoholic, microdosed drinks. So here's a marketing idea for 4/20, which is also their birthday (that's good marketing!). I used TikTok in this example since they have a decent following there. But in retrospect, I'd make it social network agnostic and use the same link across all social networks unless you need to collect social usernames. The gist: Followers take a quick quiz to discover their new fav flavor for a chance to win a $420 gift card. Benefit: Customers get exposed to what Brez offers, including the perfect one for them, and Brez gets contact deets + product preferences for future marketing, informing product development, etc. Let me know what industry/brand to do next.
