A passion for people and pigs🐽    Amanda Middleton’s 16-year career with PIC is defined by her dedication to both people and pigs.  Embodying PIC’s motto, “Never Stop Improving,” Amanda strives to provide the best genetics to our customers, taking pride in knowing her efforts lead to better outcomes for producers.    Amanda’s time with PIC has been filled with experiences that highlight the strong sense of community within the company. Reflecting on these moments, she shares, “The people here go above and beyond what they have to, and that means a lot.”    While Amanda certainly enjoys the people she works with, her love for pigs is equally profound. After previously spending time working in the lab, she was eager to return to the barn and engage directly with the animals. Introducing Tricia Veldhuizen, PIC’s Product Validation Intern! 🔬    Originally from Iowa, Tricia grew up on her family’s farm which led her to pursue a career in the agriculture industry. This summer, she’s been conducting research and analyzing data through the lactation feed efficiency intake trial she’s overseeing.    “I wanted to gain experience with research and data analysis in an area of study related to my interest and passion for the swine industry,” Tricia explained.     After recently completing her undergraduate degree at Iowa State University, Tricia will be returning there to pursue her master’s degree in animal breeding and genetics this fall.    Share your advice for Tricia as she completes her internship and continues to pursue her future in the swine industry in the comments ⬇️    #PICGenetics #Swine #Internship
