Gerldean Lipscomb has been a valuable member of Phoenix for 13 years, serving as a sewing machine operator. Throughout her tenure, she has primarily worked in the Flag Department, expertly operating the long join machine. Gerldean's skill in sewing long pieces (6 red and white stripes) and short pieces (7 red and white stripes with a star field) ensures the production of over 300 flags each day, helping to keep the flag line running smoothly.
Gerldean's versatility and dedication are evident as she is cross-trained on all operations within the Flag Department. She is a true team player, always ready to move to different tasks to ensure daily production goals are met. Despite her extensive experience, Gerldean remains young at heart and full of energy. During breaks, she can be found walking around the building, enjoying her music.
Outside of work, Gerldean leads a vibrant and fulfilling life. She enjoys attending church, spending time outdoors, and cherishing moments with her granddaughters. An animal lover, she adores her three-year-old German Shepherd and her cats.
Thank you, Gerldean, for your dedication and hard work! Keep up the great work!
